MON lab is located in Montreal, QC, Canada. As a city, Montreal is vibrant, safe, clean, and diverse. Montreal is a great city for research, as the greater Montreal area has a population of 4 million and the cost of living is low compared to other major cities. Montreal also shines with four other large universities and its number of hospitals; the possibilities for collaboration are endless.

Research at MON lab takes place at Sacré-Coeur Hospital and Concordia University’s PERFORM Centre. The PERFORM Centre is a $50 million state-of-the-art facility built in 2011. The Centre is almost 8,000 m2 and houses 8 research platforms. Research at MON lab takes advantage of several of these platforms including the cardiopulmonary, clinical analysis, conditioning floor, nutrition, and imaging suite. These suites house a number of cutting-edge infrastructure including UPLC, fluorescent microscopes, quadrupole mass spectrometer, cell culture facilities, flow cytometer, medical grade exercise testing equipment, metabolic kitchen, CT, 3T MRI, and DXA scanners.
